Something that I have learned as I have continued to use after effects over the course of this semester is that putting things in place and adding motion to certain elements is one thing, and making them look smooth is another thing. Making the movement of the designs looks effortless and natural is a very important part of the design process when working with after effects because it makes the whole clip more compelling. Choppy design looks cheap and thrown together so it makes a big difference when the clips are smooth. Adding a little bit of a bounce to some movement makes a much more smooth and natural looking video.
