Something that has become more and more prominent as a design trend is simple geometric cartoon characters. They are often flat and do not have much detail, which makes it easier for them to be manipulated and animated. Most of the examples of this that I have seen do not have a ton of motion, but just enough to make a simple illustration a bit more exciting and visually interesting. I looked into some tutorials to see if I could find some ways to do this or some of the easier ways to do it and I found this video that provided four beginner techniques on how to do this.
